Szechuan Pepper Vegetable Stir Fry

vegetarian szechuan stir fry Prep time: 8 minutes 
Cooking time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced into thick slices
  • 150g mushrooms, quartered, including Shitake if you have them
  • 2 peppers (preferably a mix of colours), sliced into thick strips
  • 150g Tenderstem broccoli, sliced into halves so that the stem and floret are separated
  • 1 sachet Blue Dragon Szechuan Pepper Shot

Szechuan Pepper Vegetable Stir Fry

A quick and easy vegetarian stir fry packed with the flavour of Szechuan Pepper.

Preparation:

  1. Heat the oil in a wok and stir fry the onion, mushrooms and broccoli stems for 1-2 minutes until they start to soften.
  2. Add the peppers and broccoli florets and stir fry for another 1-2 minutes until they are tender (but still retain bite).
  3. Add the Szechuan Pepper Sauce and heat through (be careful not to overcook the veg!). Once hot, serve with Egg Noodles.
