Sweet and Sour Chicken
The kids will love this easy sweet and sour recipe!
Preparation:
- Mix the Sesame Oil, White Rice Vinegar, water, granulated sugar and tomato ketchup together in a bowl.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok, then add the chicken and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked thoroughly.
- Add the remaining fresh ingredients and heat through. Once hot, add the wet mixture to the wok.
- When the sauce starts to boil, add the corn flour to thicken. Serve with rice (egg fried rice goes really well) or noodles.
Useful tip:
The secret to the perfect stir fry is to make sure the oil is piping hot before you put the ingredients in the pan or wok... more
