Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Blue Dragon Sushi Nori
  • 1/2 bag lettuce, shredded
  • 1 can tuna in olive oil, drained
  • salt and pepper for seasoning

Sushi Sandwich Wraps

A healthy alternative to a bread sandwich for your lunchbox.

Preparation:

  1. Take a sushi mat and arrange it so the wooden batons are arranged horizontally, and the strings are running vertically (this will help rolling the wrap forwards).
  2. Lay the nori wrap on matt (rough side up!)
  3. Apply a bed of your favourite salad leaves, leaving an inch of nori lip at the opposite end.
  4. Scatter across the centre a line of tuna flakes or chunks - the tune in olive oil is nicest.
  5. Dip your finger in a cup of water and lightly wet the exposed nori lip at the opposite end.
  6. Use the sushi mat to roll forward and press at the end to seal the nori wrap.
  7. Slice and serve

Make sure the nori is matt side facing up, as this helps the filling to stick to the nori - especially effective with rice.
