Stir Fried Lettuce
A different way to serve a warm salad – this tastes great with some griddled prawns, perfect for a light supper.
Preparation:
- Trim, wash and dry the lettuce thoroughly, and cut it into wide strips.
- Heat a wok with the oil until very hot. Toss the pieces of lettuce until they start to wilt, add the Oyster Sauce and toss everything together.
- Sprinkle with Sesame Oil and sesame seeds, season and serve.
Useful tip:
Leafy vegetables such as kale or cabbage, should be added to salted boiling water and cooked without the saucepan lid... more
