Soba Noodles with Pak Choi

A quick and easy dish with great flavour.

Preparation:

  1. Cook the noodles until they are soft but still slightly undercooked. Rinse under cold water and set aside.
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok and fry the garlic and ginger for 3-4 mins.
  1. Add the Pak Choi and fry for another 2-3 mins.
  1. Toss in the noodles and combine with the vegetables. Heat through.
  1. Stir in the Oyster sauce and Sesame oil.
  1. Remove from the heat and squeeze over lime juice.
  1. Garnish with sesame seeds and chilli slices.

Useful tip:

Don't use Blue Dragon Sesame oil for frying... more

An easy but a very flavorful dish, we especially enjoyed the original, nutty taste of the soba noodles. We did omit chilli pepper though. We will definitely repeat it!

This is delicious, particularly with the soba noodles which make it taste almost nutty. I sometimes add some smoked tofu (or if you're not vegetarian a can of tuna) for extra protein.
