Ingredients

  • 20 won ton wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 carrot - grated into small lengths
  • 40g Chinese cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tsp hoi sin
  • 1 tbsp coriander, chopped
  • 100g finely chopped Blue Dragon Tofu

Deep Fried Dim Sum

Dim sum originated in the tea houses of Canton, China over a thousand years ago. These crispy, dainty pockets of yummyness always get the tastebuds tingling.

Preparation:

  1. Combine all the filling ingredients in a bowl and mix gently.
  2. Place one rounded teaspoon of filling in the centre of each wrapper.
  3. Brush the edge with the egg and fold in half pinching to seal.
  4. Deep-fry the dim sum until golden.
  5. Serve with light soy sauce as dip.
