Deep Fried Dim Sum
Dim sum originated in the tea houses of Canton, China over a thousand years ago. These crispy, dainty pockets of yummyness always get the tastebuds tingling.
Preparation:
- Combine all the filling ingredients in a bowl and mix gently.
- Place one rounded teaspoon of filling in the centre of each wrapper.
- Brush the edge with the egg and fold in half pinching to seal.
- Deep-fry the dim sum until golden.
- Serve with light soy sauce as dip.
