Mango
This is sometimes known as the 'queen of fruits'. A thick rubbery green/blushed skin, gives way to soft, lucious pulpy fruit with a long flat stone in the centre (often surrounded by fibrous fruit). The taste is sweet and perfumed. They come in all shapes and sizes - some even smell and taste of turpentine! Also known as: mamuan (Thai).
