Fugu
A potentially fatal fish used in the making of sushi and sashimi in Japan. Consuming certain parts of the fish can cause severe poisioning or even death to humans. The most potent concentration of poison is in the ovaries and liver. The toxin will spread rapidly through the rest of the fish unless the organs are promply removed in the inital stage of cleaning. When eaten it causes a slight numbness in the mouth and on the lips - caused by tiny amounts of the remaining poision in the flesh.
