Coconut


Coconut

Greatly prized by the Asian countries for its usefulness -nothing from the kernel, to the husk, is wasted. The juice of young green coconuts it drunk and contains isotonic properties, the flesh is grated and pressed with water to create coconut milk and the dried meat is pressed to create coconut oil. The thicker the coconut milk, the higher the fat content (coconut solids). It is worth noting that the medium chain fatty acids contained in coconut milk may have health benefits. Also known as: maprao (Thai), dua (Vietnam).
