Chanterelle
These have a vivid deep yellow colour and funnel shaped cap. The flesh is yellow and the fresh fungus smells of apricot, which helps differentiate it from the false chanterelle (Hygrophoropsis aurantiacus). Prized in Europe as well as Thailand.
